  Baltimore-based polyrhythmic instrumental band Crying Laughing was formed in 2024 and combines the rhythmic sensibility of Moondog, the bass/drum interplay of post-punk, and the poly-metric explorations of Steve Reich. The band eschews vocals in favor of a double saxophone lead. The musical landscapes they create are surreal and shifting, but shaped by precise arrangements and tight transitions; this is music for Moondog's dog walkers.
